Wow, well I was impressed with how popular my Christmas Gift Guide: For Her post was! I'm so glad many of you found it helpful. But the Gift Guides don't end yet! I think we all know that men are the hardest to buy for. I have been struggling for awhile trying to figure out what I'm going to buy my fiancé and Dad this year. So, I'm really glad I decided to write this post because it really forced me to dig deep and find some of the best gift ideas for men. I wanted to get this baby up before Black Friday so maybe you all can get some major deals on these gifts!
- Breaking Bad Complete Set | $199.99: Your man have a bit of an obsession with Breaking Bad? Don't worry, you're not alone. ;) I know the Breaking Bad series is on Netflix and all, but this set is AWESOME! The DVD's come in Blu-Ray, there's hours of special features, AND you get a 2-hour documentary on the series. It's a little on the pricey side, but if he's really into movies, documentaries, and the show Breaking Bad, then this just may be the perfect gift for him.
- Suede Dress Shoes (Oxfords) | $198: Got a bit of a fashionista on your hands? Or maybe he just enjoys dressing nice for you. ;) Well, I think this suede oxford style dress shoes from J.Crew are super classy and can either be dressed up or dressed down. Now, you just need to tell him what to wear it with and I'm sure he'll love these on just as much as you do!
- Lifeproof iPhone Case | $79.99: I've been hearing a lot about these and though the price scares me a bit, I have a feeling it's well worth it. Let's face it, guys don't want to walk around with a case on their phone unless it's super basic. iPhone cases have grown to be another accessory for ladies to use to express themselves and for some reason men don't like doing the same. This case would be super perfect for not only pleasing their needs of having something super basic, but also saving their phone from oh, I don't know... dropping it in the toilet. Also, it does come in different colors which give the illusion your iPhone is a different color. So it is a bit custom, but not overdone!
- Whiskey & Rum Making Kit | $70: One year, I bought my fiancé a beer making kit from Mr. Beer and it was a hit! I imagine that this whiskey and rum making kit would be a hit also... that is if the man you're shopping for is of age and likes his liquor!
- Nascar Ride Along | $119: Know a Nascar lover? Someone for the need of speed? Well then, chances are they'd love to take a high-speed ride in a stock car around the track. I've heard of this gift before and personally I think it's one of those once in a lifetime experiences kinda gift. I imagine this would be something he'd never forget and to me that's pretty special.
- Hot & Spicy Crate | $49.99: What man doesn't love spicy things? Okay, maybe there's a select few out there. But for the most part, I've never known a man to turn down trying out a new hot sauce. I think this Hot & Spicy Crate from Man Crates is not only super cute (shh, he doesn't have to know you think it's cute) but it's got a variety of hot sauces and spicy snacks to try out. They do say that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach... they just forgot to say they enjoy burning their taste buds off in the process.
- Bacon Bandages | $5.94: Got a jokester you need to buy for? Or maybe a goofy white elephant gift exchange party to go to this year? These bacon shaped bandages are pretty funny. I feel like bacon lovers may be obsessed with these and wear them just because. What do you think?
- Guitar Pick Punch | $24.99: Have a musician on your hands? I'm not sure why exactly, maybe it's because I've never seen anything like it, but I think this guitar pick punch is really cool and unique! I know guitar players are losing their picks all the time, so I can imagine this would come in handy. Also, how cool would it be to punch a pick out of your old driver's license or credit card?
- The Hungover Cookbook | $7.60: I'm not one to crave food when I wake up hungover, but I know a lot of people are... especially men. My fiancé is always craving something greasy when he wakes up after a long night of drinking... as I cringe at the thought of putting any food in my mouth and into my stomach, he usually is rummaging through the cabinets trying to find something to fulfill his craving. Well, I stumbled upon this hungover cookbook that isn't only filled with recipes that will help cure your hangover but there's some quizzes, puzzles, etc... I know, it sounds like a headache! But the reviews were awesome and some people said they enjoyed just lying in bed reading it and it gave them a good laugh, as well!
- Beard Care Set | $39.95: Beards are all the rage right now. Especially with it being November! Ahh.. they are literally everywhere. I've noticed some men growing their beards a bit longer and fuller and they must not realize that they can look like a cave man if they don't tidy it up a bit! This beard care set has all the essentials your man needs to keep his beard looking clean and classy. Wait, did I just call a beard classy? Well, being with a bearded man for over 3 years does that to ya! :P
- Gentleman's Card Deck | $15: Oh a gentleman... they can be rare to find now-a-days! So let's make them less rare by all gifting our man a card deck full of tips and fun how-to's on being a gentleman. Anything from how to tie a tie to how to politely apologize. I find this stocking stuffer fun and unique.
- Custom NFL Jersey | $299.95: Do I really need to say anything at all? I hear about men getting this gift ALL the time! They love it! They love it probably just as much as we love when they buy us jewelry. It's a gift you can't go wrong with and one that they'll be wearing multiple times each football season. Yeah, it's pricey... but it gets good use and it may be something they hold onto forever! They love their football that much... oh, and you too. ;)
- Concert Tickets | $Varies: I feel like every year my fiancé gets in an obsessive mood to go see a concert. We've been to several together and we never fail to have a blast. I honestly think men just really love to have a good time, so gifting them with an activity like a concert is a really good idea. They get to hear their favorite band, have a beer, and hang out with their lady. What more could he want?
- A Pair of Nike's | $79.97: Some men really like to get their fit on. Or some just enjoy wearing a comfortable shoe on a regular basis. Either way, a pair of Nike's is great gift option for them. Shoes that you can wear to the gym, but also look stylish when out with your friends. I found Nike had a TON of styles to choose from... it was hard for me to decide which one to feature! But I decided to go with a shoe that could sway both directions... sporty & stylish. If you want something extra to go with this gift, maybe some weights or a monthly membership to the gym!
- Grand Theft Auto V | $33.99: I wanted to include a gift for all the ladies who have a video game addict to buy for this year! I did some research and find out that Grand Theft Auto V seems to be the highest rating video game of 2013. Honestly, I know nothing about video games... but I a 9.8 out of 10 review seemed like a good sign!
- Gift Card | $Any Amount: Lastly, but certainly not least, is the good ol' gift card! Some people don't enjoy getting gift cards because they may not seem very "personal" and are known as the lazy gift... but I disagree. Well, in some cases. I think to make giving a gift card personal, you have to think about what kind of stores this person likes to shop at or what this person likes. Get them a few if you'd like and bundle them up in a creative way!
I hope these Gift Guides are making your Christmas shopping a whole lot less stressful... :) I feel like I'm Christmas shopping with all of you and that definitely makes Christmas shopping feel more fun to me! Happy shopping... AND THANKSGIVING EVE! Woohoo. Only one more day until it's totally appropriate to gorge ourselves!
