Christmas Shopping with Ali Bee

Hi all!

Christmas is practically here, and I think we're all starting to freak out a little bit about how much Christmas shopping we HAVEN'T done!  I know I am!  I have been scattering around online and dancing DIY ideas in my head, trying to decide on the perfect gifts for my family and friends this year.

Today I think I actually made some decisions on the perfect gift ideas and I wanted to help you all with your Christmas shopping by sharing my little 2012 Christmas Gift List.  So here we go!...

Ali Bee's 2012 Christmas Gift List

1. SOCIETY6 THROW PILLOW

Society6 is now offering throw pillows!
They're fun, they're unique, they're colorful, and the options are endless!
One of these fun, little pillows is bound to fit the personality
of someone on your Christmas shopping list!

You can find this pillow on my Society6 store:

Cost:
16" x 16" Pillow Cover with Pillow Insert = $27
(Available in other sizes)

2. D.I.Y. BOOK ART

How unique are these beautiful pieces of wall art!?
I'm sure you can actually buy pieces like this,
but they're so easy and cheap to make yourself, why not DIY?

All you need is:
-Old book-
-Frame-
-Computer-
-Printer-
-Google search-

It's pretty simple.  Cut out a page from an old book,
Google search a black & white silhouette image that catches your eye,
place the old book page in your printer,
print off your chosen image, and place it in your frame!
VoilĂ !  You've got yourself some pretty sweet looking art
to gift someone on that Christmas shopping list of yours!

Cost:
$15 Maximum

3. SOCIETY 6 LAPTOP SKIN

YES!  Not only does Society6 offer cute throw pillows,
but they also sell laptop skins!  Everyone is always
wanting to accessorize their boring, old laptop!
I think I may swoop one of these up for my Grandma ;)
Yes, my Grandma owns a laptop and uses it! Haha

You can find this laptop skin on my Society6 store:

Cost:
15" Macbook Pro = $30
(Available in other sizes & for iPads!)

4. D.I.Y. OXFORD SHOES

Now, this one you can have fun with.
I absolutely adore this Oxford style Vans tennis shoe.
Awhile back, my sister and I used paint on a pair of
off-brand Vans that we found at Wal-Mart & went for
a Nebula look!  They turned out awesome!
So now I'm eager to try it out again and gift someone
with a pair!  I love this Oxford look, but you could do
many other designs such as Chevron, Polka-Dots, Stripes,
Clouds, Ombré, and the possibilities could go on and on!

All you need is:
-Off-brand Vans from Wal-Mart-
-Fabric or Craft Paint-
-Paint Brush-
-Washable Pen-

Now, be sure to take out the laces before you start your
masterpiece!  If you're going with the Oxford look, or
another finer design, then I recommend using a washable
pen to layout your design so you have a guide to go by
when you start painting!  Remember to be creative! :)

Cost:
$20 Maximum

of yours not only because they'll receive amazing looking
images, but also because it'll make them feel great about
who they are and who they dream to be!
