October Favorites

Well, I finally decided that I'm all for doing a monthly favorites posts every month!  This is one of my favorite topics to read on other blogs and even watch on YouTube, so I hope you all enjoy my monthly favorites just as much as I enjoy others!

Left to right... here we go!:

• L'Oréal's Magic Nude Liquid Powder foundation has quickly become my favorite foundation ever.  I've never been much of a foundation girl.  I never knew what looked best, or how much coverage I needed.  I realized that the foundation I did have was no where near my shade and I wasn't putting hardly any on my face... so yeah, it was scary.  The Magic Nude Liquid Powder foundation goes on so smoothly and it feels incredibly light, yet still covers most of my blemishes. 
• A blending brush for your eye shadow is just a must.  Sadly, this is my first one that I've ever owned and I decided to go all out and get a super soft one from Sephora.  It works beautifully!
• Cover Girl's Outlast Lipstain in shade 420 gives your lips a beautiful nude pink color.  I like the lipstain because it's not too pigmented and well, it lasts a few hours!  It does tend to dry out your lips though, so some chapstick on top is a must!  I find this shade perfect for this time of year!
• Oh man, don't even get me started on L'Oréal's BB Cream.  Okay, do... I have been wearing this every day ever since I purchased it.  On days that I have no plans to go anywhere, I don't even put foundation over it!  It hide pores and with a little extra help of concealer, your blemishes and red spots magically disappear.
• My handy dandy notebook!  The little Five Star notebook is what I'm always reaching for when I have a new photo concept come to mind.  I try to keep it within reach at all times because my brain likes to think of the best photo ideas when I'm either in bed trying to sleep or eating dinner.  If I don't write it down right then and there, then it'll be forever gone!
• Mmm mm mm!  Kashi's Go Lean Crunch! in the flavor Honey Almond Flax tastes delightful with a banana cut up and thrown in.  It's been my go-to snack when I'm too hungry for just an apple.
• Candles are like my favorite thing during this time of year.  Better Home's candle in scent Candied Caramel Pecan smells so wonderful and the smell fills the room within seconds.  Did I mention is was less than $10?
• Last, but definitely not least is my Conair 1/2" curling iron.  I have never owned my own curling iron and I can't remember the last time I curled/styled my hair until I purchased this baby.  My hair is naturally curly/wavy so I've always just let it go however it wanted to.  Getting a bit frustrated with how my hair looked, I decided to try curling it.  I fell in love!  I'm trying really hard to not curl it every day to prevent damage from the heat.
