Fall 2013: A Walk In My Neighborhood

After living in our quaint neighborhood in Clintonville, Columbus, Ohio for a little over a year now - I can finally say I truly love where we are.  Though our home project to-do list will always seem never ending, we have spent most of our first year getting our apartment just how we want it and making it feel like home.  We're slowly winding down and REALLY starting to feel settled in.  Ever since I've lived in Columbus, which has been for over 3 years, I've always been on the look out for the best neighborhoods and the prettiest apartments to rent... that is of course until we moved to where we are now.  I haven't felt the need to find something better.  We've got the best of both worlds right where we're at.  Secluded in a neighborhood where people come to raise their families, but just a 30 second drive to High Street near some of the best restaurants, bars, shops, and a Target... yes, a TARGET!  I've fallen in love with where we're at and I don't see us moving until we decide to pick up and head south!

I've decided that each season, I want to take a stroll with my camera and photograph where I live.  Documenting the beauty in old homes, new homes, unique homes, weathered streets, and ginormous trees.  I know I'll not only appreciate this now, but someday when I look back on these images... I'll remember where Austin and I began our life together.  Oh yeah, it'll also be fun to show the children, considering we hope to be south by the time we have kids and that means they probably won't be too familiar with snow!  ;)
