Changes + An Instagram Giveaway

Hello my beautiful readers!  Some changes are happening with Ali Bee Photography.  Don't worry, they're awesome changes!  I recently worked with Brianne Geiger, blogger and marketing lover, and she gave me some seriously great insight on how I can better my business.  For the most part, she said I was doing amazing things with my social media, which was great to hear because connecting with you all is SO important to me!  But regardless of how much we rock at something, we can always do better!  It's what makes our world go 'round.  So taking Brianne's advice, I have a couple announcements to make.

First up, I now have a referral program...

Ever heard of a referral program?  Probs, but if not, this is how it works.  Basically if you hired me for your photo shoot, were thrilled with my services, then you're likely to refer me to all your friends, right?  Well, instead of getting just a "thank you so much" in return, you will now get gifts!  Refer me once and your friend books, you get a free print from your session!  Refer me a second time and your friend books, you get a $50 credit towards your next shoot!  Refer me a third time and your friend books, you get a free mini session ($100 value)!  Freakin' awesome, right!?  If you're just that badass and send more than 3 of your friends my way, then the referral program will simply restart from 1 to 3.  Does that make sense?  I hope so!

Eeeek, I am so stinkin' excited for this change and I hope that you all are, too.  For all you lovelies who have had a photo shoot with me in the past, I hope you're hearing me loud and clear because this is your chance to get your referral cap on and get yourself some goods!  Can't wait to meet some new, beautiful gals (aka best clients ever)!

Next up, it's my first ever Instagram giveaway...

You heard right, I'm doing an Instagram giveaway.  Something I randomly thought up literally just a few days ago and I couldn't be more obsessed with the idea.  As if I don't love doing giveaways already, I feel as if this giveaway actually has a purpose other than me giving you free goodies, which makes me love it even more.

I want to do what I call a Bee Your Selfie contest!  I'm going to be totally honest with you here, back in the day, when selfies were just becoming a thing, I used to bash them... saying things like "she's so stuck up."  But today, in a world where Instagram has become the home of selfies, I'm loving it.  I've gone from "please stop posting so many photos of yourself" to "yes, keep loving yourself, keep posting, you're absolutely beautiful."  And to tell you the truth, I think I was so against selfies before because I was simply insecure with myself.  We've all been there, done that!  I would have never thought a few years later that I would be hosting a selfie contest, encouraging girls to post a selfie a day for a week straight.  Okay, okay, I'll tell you the details already...

Obviously, first things first, you'll need to follow me on Instagram - xoAliBee.  You will have the opportunity to enter yourself into this giveaway 7 times and have until August 7th to do so!  Basically I'm promoting a week long of Bee Your Selfies, aka you'll need to post 7 selfies on Instagram to be entered into the giveaway 7 times.  Here's the 7 different selfies I want to see...

• Day 1 Thursday - A selfie of you reading this blog post with hashtag #BeeYourSelfie
• Day 2 Friday - A funny face selfie with hashtag #BeeYourSelfie
• Day 3 Saturday - An all dolled up selfie with hashtag #BeeYourSelfie
• Day 4 Sunday - A no makeup selfie with hashtag #BeeYourSelfie
• Day 5 Monday - A selfie at work with hasghtag #BeeYourSelfie
• Day 6 Tuesday - A selfie with your food with hashtag #BeeYourSelfie
• Day 7 Wednesday - A selfie with someone you love #BeeYourSelfie

IMPORTANT:  Because this giveaway is going on for 3 weeks instead of just 1, you are allowed to spread out your selfies!  However, I will be beginning my week of Bee Your Selfie today and ending it next Wednesday, July 23rd and I highly suggest you do, too!  It'll be more fun doing it all together, don't ya think?  :)  Also, you have to do each individual selfie to get the full 7 entries.  For example, posting 2 all dolled up selfies will not count as 2 entries, it will only count as 1.  Don't forget to mention what each selfie is.  Who knows, I may not be able to tell your funny selfie from your selfie with food apart.  ;)  Lastly, YOU MUST tag #alibeephotography #giveaway AND #beeyourselfie for your entry to count!!!!!!!

Oh snap, I just realized I haven't even mentioned what I'll be giving away!  I love all of my readers who live far rather than near, but this giveaway is only for those in the central Ohio area as I will be giving away a mini session!  No worries though, there are always giveaways for all in the future.  Actually, one in the very near future. ;)  Hint: back to school.
