Top 5 Summer Lipsticks + Giveaway

What's better than lipstick?  Lipstick that looks great in the summer time!  I'm not huge into the vampy lipsticks that do look amazing in the fall, soooo now that summer is nearly here, you could say I'm pretty frickin' thrilled to rock out some summery shades on my lippies.  Pinks, purples, oranges, oh my!  Lip creams, glosses, balms, oh yes!  Want to just go straight to the video?  Then click here!  Want to get straight to the swatches?  Then stick around and you'll find them below!

1. This first lipstick I have to share is brand spankin' new to my collection and I'm sorta loving it.  It's what I have on my lips in the photo at the beginning of this post.  It's one of the new NYX Macaron Lippies in the color Violet.  GORGEOUS.  I've been wanting to try out a purple lip for quite some time, especially since I've noticed it's going to be quite the trend this upcoming season.  I decided if I'm going to do it, I may as well go all out and do purple.  Like legit purple.  This is it!  Incredibly beautiful purple shade and a fantastic and creamy formula.  If you want purple, you can't go wrong with this lipstick!
2. If I ever want to tone down the purple lip a tad bit with total control, then I add this stunning NYX Buttergloss in Sugar Cookie.  This is also new to my collection!  I actually bought these two items at the same time because I thought they'd work great together ;)  (side note: I'm counting this and the Macaron lippie as one)  I really love the idea of an ombré lip too, which is totally possible when dabbing a bit of this lipgloss in the center of your lips. 
3. Aha... one of my all-time favs - Milani's lipstick in Nude Cream.  Yes, yes, yes.  The perfect nude shade in the perfect formula.  You really can't ask for more.  And there's no time of the year that a nude lippie isn't a must-have.  Am I right or am I right?
4. I can't think of a better beach bag lip product.  Baby Lips Limited Edition in Pop of Pink is just the perfect amount of color for a pool day!
5. Feeling Juicy?  This Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya is an amazing color to rock in the summer.  Much like the Baby Lips, you won't need a mirror to apply this!  I also feel like this color would look incredible when you're a bit sun kissed.
6. This lip color product though.  I already can't get enough of the Milani lipsticks - I mean they smell better than watermelon jolly ranchers - but this color Pink Love is just perfect!  It is by far my all-time favorite lipstick and it is definitely a must have for summer time!  A pink lip ALWAYS looks good. 
7. Okay, so here's a bonus.  I couldn't not bring this up!  I know I mentioned several amazing drugstore products, but when I tried out this high-end, Two Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Peony, I fell in love!  I'm not one to spend big money on makeup, but this product is too unique and too good to pass up.  Did I mention that it's perfect for summer time?  The color is great, yes, but the formula is awesome.  It dries matte but it's not super drying and get this, it stays on FOREVER.  I don't know about you, but I always forget to reapply my lipstick in the summer time... and it also tends to melt off your lips a bit quicker - major bummer!  But you don't have to worry about that with this product.  It's a must-have.  I need more colors.
